Ok, so since we remembered we actually have a blog that we meant to post on more frequently… 😂

Because given how I inhale books, I probably have the most to post about here that we’ll never get around to covering on the podcast. Plus, I have the most free time to do it.

Bloody Black by Rhiannon Hargadon is a VERY interesting take on the legendary pirate Captain Blackbeard. And let me tell you… Amazon is being stingy with the details on this one.

For good reason.

Look, this is a dark-ish romantasy, and for once the FMC is morally grey while the MMC is suspiciously shiny.

Like, I was immediately suspicious. 😂

Sure, it’s another book where the woman starts out somewhat fragile and doesn’t fully realize how strong she is…

But this time SHE 👏 DOESN’T 👏 NEED 👏 A 👏 MAN 👏 TO HELP 👏 HER 👏 FIND 👏 HER 👏 POWER 👏

She does that shit BEFORE she even meets him. 🔥

And honestly? THANK FUCKING GOD.

Ok. I’m stopping there because this one is absolutely worth going into with as little information as possible.
